“The Chemung County Industrial Development Agency has never had a labor union representative serve as a member of it’s board. The county legislature has the opportunity to make that happen. Donald J. Kraft Jr., President, Southern Tier Building and Construction Trades Council has been recommended for appointment. It is long overdue to have union representation on the IDA. I strongly support President Kraft’s appointment.” Legislator Rodney J. Strange said.
“I also support Legislator Marty Chalk’s proposal that a representative from city government be appointed when the next vacancy occurs,” Strange said.
