“With the clean up continuing throughout the 15th legislative district, I would like to thank all the amazing men and women who worked tirelessly over the past few days to help the residents of my legislative district, especially the Village of Wellsburg. I cannot put into words the gratitude I have for everything that was done by all those involved to keep my citizens safe. The work by the Chemung County 911 Communications Center, County DPW, Emergency Management and all the State, County and Town Highway Departments was simply outstanding. The Fire Departments who responded to the events in the 15th district including Wellsburg, Southport, East Hill, Pine City, Chemung, Baldwin and West Elmira, you are all amazing. To the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police, your service did not go unnoticed. Thank you for all you did and will continue to do in the days ahead. God Bless All Of You!”
