Chemung County Legislator Rodney J. Strange is very pleased to announce that the Chemung County Bookmobile has several stops scheduled in the 15th Legislative District for 2012-2013.
Every week, the Bookmobile will be in several locations throughout the 15th District to allow residents to borrow books and materials right in their own neighborhoods. “I am thankful that the Chemung County Library District is bringing their Bookmobile to the 15th District again this year for residents to take advantage of their services,” Strange said.
The Bookmobile holds over 4000 items that include fiction and nonfiction titles for adults and children, as well as large print books, audio books, and DVD’s. Residents can also get a free library card and request materials that are not on the Bookmobile. Visitors can check out books and materials for two or four weeks and they can return them to any Chemung County Library or the Bookmobile.
“I encourage district residents to use the many services of the Bookmobile when it makes stops at the convenient locations around the 15th District,” Strange said.
