The Chemung County Sewer District began a consolidation plan in 2019.
They presented the proposed plan to the county legislature in February 2021 and in January 2022 they updated the legislature on the progress of the project.
Below are the power point presentations that were presented to the legislature. The first one will give you the reasoning and overview of the project and the second one (one year later) will give an update on the progress thus far.
