The Live Streaming Advisory Committee of the Chemung County Legislature presented its report to the legislature on July 27th.
The Committee was formed in March and Chaired by Legislative Minority Leader Christina Sonsire with members Majority Leader Rodney J. Strange, Legislature Vice Chairman John Burin, Legislators Mark Margeson and Bill McCarthy.
The committee recommended that the legislature adopt and implement live streaming of all legislature meetings that are open to the public including the committee meetings and any special meetings by the legislature along with the monthly regular full meetings.
The Report was accepted by the Personnel Committee and voted out of the Multi Services Committee by a unanimous vote at the legislative committee meetings on July 27th. It was approved by the full legislature for at its meeting on August 10th.
