A new era in Chemung County government began New Year’s Day at the Chemung County Courthouse with the Inauguration of County Executive Chris Moss and County Treasurer Jennifer Furman. County Court Judge Christopher Baker presided over the ceremony with friends and family in attendance including Chemung County Legislator Rodney J. Strange, the new Majority Leader of the County Legislature.
