15th District Legislator Rodney J. Strange, the new Majority Leader of the Chemung County Legislature, was sworn into office for his third term on New Year’s Day. Strange’s wife Kathi held the Bible as Chemung County Court Judge Christopher Baker administered the Oath of Office. The ceremony took place in the legislative chambers on the 5th floor of the Hazlette Building in Elmira. Strange was re-elected in November. Strange will serve on the legislatures Budget Committee, Corrections and Law Enforcement Committee and serve as Chairman of the Highway Committee.
